Wow! What a month! You have officially completed the course - woohoo!!

Instead of a hundred average iPhone snaps filling up your phone, you now photograph thoughtfully with intention, reading light and telling the stories you always wanted to tell, these memories that are your world and theirs right now.

So what now?

I hope that you will use these skills you have learnt to take beautiful photographs everyday.

Keep in mind - one day all our children will have left is photos… Photos of us. Photos of their childhood. Photos of the love.

We are here to make sure that everyone - including you, mama - is in them. No matter what your hair looks like, your make up or your body. No matter if the house has been cleaned or the kids are in their best clothes. No matter if you have an hour to set up the "perfect" shoot (because there really is no such thing as "perfect") or if you only have a quick ten seconds before you have to race out the door.

Trust me, they won’t care about any of that… they will just want to see you, see their childhood, see that they were loved.

Back in week one, I told you that I designed this course because I hear way too often from mamas that they are always the one behind the camera... never in front. They are taking the photos of the kids, the dogs, dad, loved ones. But who's taking mama's photo?

I hope that you now see why you deserve to be in front of the camera. I hope you take more selfies. I hope you encourage your partner to take more photos and film with you present - and you can always sign them up to learn these valuable skills too!

Films

Our course covered photography, we didn't touch on films, but they are important. Capturing moments in moving picture is magical.

A lot of the key principals we have learnt - lighting, perspective, composition, feeling, connection - these all relate to filming too.

So I hope you can transfer those skills when you take a video on your phone.

YOU DID IT!

You made it all the way to the end.

I would love to hear what you thought.

Did you find it helpful?

Did you learn a lot?

Can you see the difference in your photographs now?

Please share your thoughts with me!

If you have a friend that you think would like this course, please tell them about it!

I would love for this course to reach many, so together we can all make the change to ensure mama is captured, and we are capturing these moments in a thoughtful, considered and intentional way so our children have beautiful photographs to remember their family and their childhood.
